Taste the Real Italy
Cooking, Wine and Family Stories.

Just 40 minutes from Florence, Sant’Appiano is a hidden gem — home to an ancient church where a Kennedy descendant is buried.

Flour, Wine & Heritage: Learn to Cook Nonna’s Tuscan Recipes

Some memories are made at the table — with flour-dusted hands, slow-cooked sauces and recipes passed down from nonna. At Fattoria Sant’Appiano, a family-run estate surrounded by vineyards and olive groves in the heart of Chianti, cooking is an act of love and tradition.

Join us for a truly authentic experience: you’ll learn to prepare cherished Tuscan dishes, just like our grandmother used to — with simplicity, patience and seasonal ingredients from our land. As the scents fill the air, we’ll share stories, laughter and a few glasses of our organic wine, aged in the same cellar that has seen generations gather before you.

“An experience beyond food”
I thought I was coming to cook, but I ended up living a moment of family, history, and authenticity. Every ingredient had meaning and every story from Nonna moved me. The wine? Absolutely perfect. I can’t wait to come back.

“The best gift I could give myself”
I needed a break from the chaos and I found a corner of peace. The recipes were the real deal — the kind you never find in restaurants. The smell of the sauce, the organic wine, the view over the vineyards… I felt truly cared for. It was magical.

Claire T., London

“An experience that stays with you”
This is not a cooking class. It’s a journey through time, flavors and emotions. I cooked ragù with Nonna, drank wine while looking out over the hills of San Gimignano. Every detail was crafted with love. I’ll definitely be back — next time, I’m bringing my mother.

Marc H., Los Angeles
