The winery Sant’Appiano is in the hamlet of the same name and lies nestled between the rolling Chianti hills between Florence and Siena in the valley of the Elsa.
Dominico Cappelli bought the winery in 1961, after his death he left it to his children and grandchildren who have carried on in the family tradition.
